Duraclean Health Insurance

Healthcare is expensive and the health insurance options are confusing and complicated. Researching health insurance is very time consuming and can be very frustrating unless you are extremely savvy in the healthcare arena. With the DURACLEAN Member healthcare program, getting a free no obligation health insurance quote is easy.
Below are the steps involved in the simple, no-hassle process:
- Complete the proposal request form at www.mmicinsurance.com/Duraclean, and submit it to MMIC.
- MMIC receives the form, and based upon your needs, location, and number of employees, it selects two insurance companies.
- Within 48 hours, MMIC evaluates and negotiates with the two companies to tailor a plan that best fits your needs and e-mails you a proposal with the rates and benefit comparisons.
- MMIC will follow up with an e-mail to discuss the proposal, answer your questions, and if you're interested in applying for coverage, MMIC will send you an enrollment kit and application immediately.
- Complete the application for the insurance provider and send it to MMIC for review. MMIC then overnights your application to the insurance company.
When renewal time comes, MMIC will contact you prior to the renewal date to discuss your needs and will work with insurance companies to renegotiate your rates or provide alternatives.

2008 Annual Meeting
Now available is a 3-disk DVD set in a clear case containing almost 10 hours of sessions that were presented at the 2008 annual meeting in Las Vegas by outside speakers and Duraclean franchisees!
#3362 - 2008 Duraclean Meeting 3-disk DVD set
“Going for the Gold” by Fiona Carmichael – Fiona who is an internationally recognized speaker presented a captivating session that started out our Annual Meeting. It concentrated on a step-by-step program to inspire you to develop an approach to master life’s greatest challenges, how to bounce back when things go wrong and to finally take charge of your own destiny.
Fiona Carmichael“Human Resources Best Practices” by Mary Lynn Fayoumi, CAE, SPHR, SPHR, GPHR, President and CEO of the Management Association of Illinois – Mary Lynn uses her 24 years experience in HR management to explain in layman’s terms the conundrums that challenge HR management which can become a big headache for those of us in business that have employees. To avoid that you need to start out with first understanding and then putting HR fundamentals in place. Once that has been established you then need to maintain and implement them on a consistent basis. Areas covered in the session include: maximizing your recruiting efforts; selecting the right employees; managing employee performance; designing a competitive rewards package; recognizing employees; developing an effective training plan; communicating results; and striving for employee engagement. This is one of most popular and informative sessions that we have ever had at a Duraclean Annual Meeting/Convention!!
“Loose Rug Cleaning Panel Discussion” with franchisees Joe Bartz, Paul Miller and Al Jankowski and Duraclean Executive Vice President Wil Gage – The panel discusses the ability of Duraclean franchisees to offer off-site loose rug cleaning for customers. Basic equipment and processes are presented along with variations that employ alternative or supplementary set-ups to enhance the cleaning results. Pricing and alternative services are mentioned as well.
Joe Bartz is "Loose Rug" panel moderator
Chad Mathis is "Technician Compensation & Incentives" panel moderator“Building Your Restoration Business thru Agents, Adjusters, Hygienists and Realtors Panel Discussion” with Rick Criss, Randy Roe, George Gibson, Tammy Jankowski and Vince Caffarello – The last session ties in all aspects of the previous panel presentations and then applies specifics to the desired targets. The key is to understand each target’s “wants and needs” and then allowing them to realize that you have the solution.

Duraclean Franchisee Perseveres
New Orleans Duraclean franchisee Dick Grantham decided to stay at home as Hurricane Gustaf roared toward his city. Fortunately it turned out to be a good decision on his part. He called into Duraclean Central on September 2 to relay his experience. He told us that there were times when the rainfall was so little that he was able to walk his dog three times. Although much of New Orleans was hit with power failures, Dick who lives close to the historic French Quarter had electrical power throughout the storm. As Gustaf moved out of New Orleans Dick found that his garden had received so little rainwater that he had to water it!!!!
We're all extremely thankful that Dick is safe and sound.
Dick Grantham receives his 40 year service award at the 2008 Duraclean Annual Meeting held this past August in Las Vegas
