Change in Soil Releaser

1136-QT Soil Releaser SB
“Soil Releaser SB” is the revised name for Duraclean’s “Heavy Duty Soil Releaser” and also comes in a different sized container. The reasons for the changes are as follows:
- “Heavy Duty Soil Releaser” (HDSR) made its debut in 1983. Being a dry solvent-based prespray it was the perfect companion to the Fabricrafter Dry Cleaning solution to be used as part of the newly introduced Fabricrafter drapery cleaning services. HDSR was also found to be effective as a prespray on upholstery and carpet traffic lanes. The name of the product, however, was confusing since it implied that it was somehow stronger than Soil Releaser I or II. HDSR wasn’t stronger; it just worked better on different kinds of soil (oily and greasy). We finally decided to rename the product to reflect what it is: Soil Releaser SB (solvent-based).
- The rising cost of “Hazardous Fees” was a large consideration. To be proactive to counteract those fees we found that if we supplied HDSR in quart sized bottles that they could be shipped without the onerous additional fees. In a “gallon to gallon” comparison in total price the new quart sized bottles cost about a dollar more but as hazard fees rise that will no longer be the case. We anticipate that the new size will be less expensive overall.
- In most applications the small bottles are more convenient. They have a flip top dispenser cap. Since Soil Releaser SB is ready-to-use you can remove the cap and insert the standard #4206 Spotcraft trigger spray head so you can dispense the product in a spray application without having to add a “Secondary Container” label to the bottle.
You can order the new quart size as follows:
Soil Releaser SB
1136-12QT (case) - $80.40 each
1136-QT (quart) - $7.15 each
